Services
Four services, described in full
What each service covers, how the work is approached, and what it typically involves. If your project spans more than one — most do — that is expected.
01 — House Building
New homes, built with care
Building a house is a long conversation made real. It starts with what you want from the home and what the site will allow, and it ends with rooms that feel settled rather than newly finished.
We take on the build itself: the foundations and structure, the walls and roof, the windows, and the finishes that follow. The sequence matters as much as the detail, so each stage is planned before the one before it closes up.
Where you already have drawings and approvals, we build to them. Where the design is still forming, we work through the practical questions — levels, access, materials, how the house will be heated and lived in — so nothing is decided in a hurry on site.
- Groundworks, structure and roof
- Windows, doors and external finishes
- Internal layout, joinery and finishes
- Coordinating the trades through to completion
02 — Home Extensions
More room, without moving
The best extensions are the ones you stop noticing. Ceiling heights line up, floor levels meet, and the light falls the same way in both halves of the room.
We build single and two-storey extensions, from the groundworks and steel through to the plaster, glazing and final joinery. Where the new structure meets the existing house, we take the time to get the junction right.
Most extensions touch the kitchen or the back of the house, so we plan the work around a usable home: temporary kitchen arrangements, protected routes through the house, and a clear sequence for when the old wall comes out.
- Single and two-storey extensions
- Structural openings and steelwork
- Glazing, roof lights and doors
- Kitchens, garden rooms and additional bedrooms
03 — Property Renovations
Bringing older buildings up to date
Older houses ask for judgement. Some things should be repaired, some replaced, and some left exactly as they are. We work through the building methodically rather than stripping everything back as a matter of course.
Renovation work covers layout changes, structural repairs, damp and insulation, new services, and the redecoration and joinery that finish a room. Original features are kept where they earn their place.
We are straightforward about what we find once walls are open. If a discovery changes the scope, we explain it, price it and agree it with you before the work carries on.
- Full and partial house renovation
- Layout changes and structural repair
- Insulation, damp and services
- Restoration of original features and joinery
04 — Interior Design
Interiors that hold together
Interior design here is about coherence. A restrained palette, honest materials and a few considered pieces will outlast a room full of new ones.
A material and finish schedule sets out what is used where, and lighting is planned early, because it decides how every surface reads in the evening as well as the day.
The work can cover a single room or a whole house: layout and furniture planning, material and finish schedules, joinery design, lighting and window treatments — coordinated with the build so the details arrive on time.
- Space planning and furniture layouts
- Material, finish and colour palettes
- Bespoke joinery and lighting design
- Coordination with the build programme
