How we handle your information

VAYO Property Group Ltd is the data controller for the information described in this notice. The company is registered in England and Wales, company number 17423073, with its registered office at Unit TH15, Theaklen Drive, St. Leonards-on-Sea, England, TN38 9AZ.

You can contact us about anything in this notice by email at info@vayopropertygroup.com, or by sending an enquiry through the contact form on this website.

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name and email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, the postcode of the project property, the service your project relates to, an optional timescale, and your description of the project.

We also record when the enquiry was sent, and a one-way cryptographic hash of the connection's IP address. The hash is used only to limit automated or repeated submissions. The IP address itself is not stored, and the hash is not used to identify you.

We use your information to read your enquiry and reply to you about the project you have described. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

We do not use enquiry details for marketing, we do not add anyone to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent information to anyone.

Enquiries are stored in this website's private database. The website and its database are hosted on Base44's platform, which runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Base44 and Cloudflare process this data on our behalf as hosting providers.

Enquiries are not public. They can only be read or updated by administrators signed in to the VAYO owner dashboard. The database's access rules deny anonymous visitors and ordinary signed-in users any access to enquiry records.

We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and delete them once they are no longer needed.

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It does not use tracking pixels, session recording or profiling.

The typefaces used on the site are served by Google Fonts. Loading a page makes a request to Google's servers, which receives your IP address and browser information as part of delivering the font files. No enquiry details are sent to Google.

If you sign in to the owner dashboard, a session token is stored in your browser so that you stay signed in. That applies only to administrators using the dashboard, not to visitors browsing the site or sending an enquiry.

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how it is used.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

If the way the site handles information changes — for example if project photography or an email notification service is added — this notice will be updated before those changes go live.
