VAYO was set up to do four things properly: build houses, extend them, renovate them, and design their interiors. Keeping that scope narrow means the same judgement is applied whether the job is a new build or a single reconfigured room.

Understand the house first
Every project starts with the building as it is: how it is put together, how the light falls, and what can and cannot change. Decisions made after that point get better.
Decide in the right order
Structure, services and layout before finishes. Working in sequence avoids the expensive conversations that come from choosing a kitchen before knowing where the wall will be.
Finish the detail
The last five per cent is what a room is judged on — junctions, thresholds, shadow gaps and joinery. Those decisions are made before the work starts, not left to the end.
